Where does your browsing time go?

One click and your browsing history is grouped into categories. Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

First time? Add the extension

Websites can't read your history on their own, so a small Chrome extension (history permission only) hands it to this page. It sends nothing over the network.

  1. Download the extension and unzip it.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
  4. Reload this page, or just click the extension's icon.

No extension? Drop your browser's History file here instead.

Where's the file?
  • Chrome (Mac): ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/History
  • Chrome (Windows): %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\History
  • Safari: ~/Library/Safari/History.db
  • Firefox: places.sqlite in your profile folder
  • Google Takeout: Chrome/History.json

Tip: on a Mac, press ⌘⇧G in the file picker and paste the path.
